1. EXERCISE First Thing In The Morning - research shows that people who exercise in the morning are the most consistent with their routines. Exercising first thing in the morning is the best prevention for lack-of-time and lack-of-energy problems.

Dear Members, Hi, I am Chung. I got involved in the sport field as a professional soccer player and Olympics Soccer Representative for Hong Kong during the late 90's. From 2003 onward, I started working as a Personal Trainer and have participated in the 2007 Hong Kong Bodybuilding Competition and obtained 2rd runner up in the novice 70kg devision.

This program will build full-body strength and have a big carryover for sport. That’s because it will teach you to lift and shift a load with strength. A lift is where you move a load against gravity and a shift is where you move a load through gravity. Shifting exercises are noticeably absent from most strength programs.
1. Front carry hip sways
2 Sets, 30 seconds
  • Hold the ViPR to your chest with a very wide stance and your feet slightly turned out.
  • Shift your weight onto one foot, moving your hips to that side and keeping your leading knee over your toes.
  • Shift your weight to the opposite side for one rep.
2. Squat with lateral diagonal rise
2 sets, 30 seconds
  • Sink into a squat and reach the ViPR to one side and at an angle.
  • Stand up and move the ViPR diagonally across your body without rotating your torso.

SEASONS FITNESS OFFICE TIPS
1. 胸及頸後肌肉的伸展:
先將雙手放頭後,吸氣擴胸將手肘打開伸展胸部;呼氣慢慢將頭向下放鬆手肘閉合在胸前;將肩部放鬆下沉。感覺頸後部分有伸展後停止,重復做三至五次。(留意雙手的重量足夠令頸部伸展,不要用手力將頭下壓)

2.肩部的伸展:
先將右手臂橫放在胸前,後將左手放在右手肘位置。先吸氣;呼氣用左手將右手臂向身方向下壓。感覺肩膀後部分有伸展後停止,重復做三至五次。轉另一邊手。

3. 腰部的伸展:
先將雙手臂橫放在胸前,手肘升起同肩成同一高度。先吸氣;呼氣將雙手臂和肩部同時向身體左方轉動上半身,感覺腰背有伸展後回轉上半身到正面。吸氣後再向另一方向轉動。左右重復做三至五次。

4. 腳部及小腿的伸展:
先坐下或半蹲下將右腳伸直放在身前腳尖向上。將右手放在右腳上,先吸氣;呼氣將手伸向腳尖,感覺腳後和小腿有伸展後停止。重復做三至五次後轉另一邊腳。

5. 前臂的伸展:
先將右手伸直在身前抬起至肩膀高度,手指放鬆向下後轉動前臂至手指指向右方,將左手從下方放在右手手背上。先吸氣;呼氣用左手將右手掌向身方向下壓。感覺前臂上部分有伸展後停止,重復做三至五次後轉另一邊手掌。

Balance Training with BOSU(R) Balance Trainer

The kinetic chain of balance starts at the bottom - your feet - and progresses up to your torso. And the commonly used phrase in life that you are only as strong as you weakest link applies here! Balance is the key to insuring a solid performance in all exercises. Develop a plan to work on your balance from the bottom up - ankles to knees to hips to spine. You can work on balance by standing on the BOSU while watching a little Bloomberg. And this balance training will remind you of all the times you tried to cross a log as a child!

Using a BOSU will give you the ultimate training in balance, core stability, and body coordination training. This versatile functional exercise-training device with its unique half-circle inflatable ball provides multiple applications for standing, sitting, and supported body weight conditioning activities. It is the new trend of training for all!

Following classes will use BOSU as core equipment:
Monday (1:00 – 1:45pm) EXTREME INTERVAL
Tuesday (6:00 – 6:45pm) CORE TRAINING
Thursday (12:15 – 1:00pm) EXTREME INTERVAL
Friday (7:15 – 8:00pm) BOSU CIRCUIT

Get to class on time.
If you're late, enter quietly and take a spot at the back of the class.

Turn off your mobile.
Or switch it to cilent. If you do need to answer a call, take it outside the studio.

Don't be a diva.
GX classes are open to all, and you don't own any particular spot in class. So be flexible,
follow instructions and respect those around you.
